FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a system for predicting transmission, in which axial and angular position of selector element (3A) of gear shifting is read by axial and angular sensors, made in the form of an array of two-dimensional magnetic sensors (7) of selected transmission. Signals indicating angular and axial position of selector element (3A) of gear shifting, are provided to an electronic data processing unit array of two-dimensional sensors (7), and electronic data processing unit based on signals received from array of two-dimensional sensors (7), provides an output signal with data on next included transmission. Also disclosed is a method for prediction of transmission and a motor vehicle.
EFFECT: higher prediction of transmission.
