SUBSTANCE: method for post-processing reconstructed image includes determination of strength of joint at each edge 4 samples, located on screen recess 8×8 and corresponding to edge of prediction unit or edge of conversion unit; determining whether used release filtering at edge 4 samples or not, using strength of joint and boundary quantization parameter; filtering edge 4 samples if used release filtering at edge of 4 samples; and application of edge displacement, if type of adaptive to sample displacement (SAO) indicates edge offset, wherein use of edge displacement includes: generating edge index of current sampling and application of edge displacement corresponding to edge index, to current sample.

EFFECT: reduced difference between initial recesses and reconstructed samples.
