SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a recombinant microorganism of genus Corynebacterium, having ability to produce putrescine, and method of producing putrescine. In said recombinant microorganism hydrolase activity of protein, having amino acid sequence presented in SEQ ID NO: 17 or SEQ ID NO: 19, is removed. Method of producing putrescine involves culturing said recombinant microorganism and recovering putrescine from obtained cell culture fluid.
