SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a microorganism of the genus Corynebacterium, having the ability to produce putrescine, in which N-acetyltransferase activity, originating from strain of Corynebacterium, and activity of acetylornithine deacetylase (argE), originating from E. coli are introduced. Also disclosed is a method of producing putrescine using said microorganism, a composition for producing putrescine containing said microorganism, and use of said microorganism for producing putrescine.
