SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a putrescine-producing microorganism and a method of producing putrescine using said microorganism. Disclosed is a putrescine-producing microorganism of the genus Corynebacterium, in which the activity of formate dehydrogenase (Fdh) is increased compared to the activity before modification. Also disclosed is a method of producing putrescine, involving culturing said microorganism in a medium and recovering putrescine from a microorganism or culture medium.
