SUBSTANCE: invention relates to integral circuit, in particular, microcontroller, for operation in the area with ionizing radiation, with at least part of the temperature control circuit for controlled temperature increase circuit to the specified constant value of operating temperature, at that the electric power consumption of the circuit is increased by adjustable electric additional power. Integrated circuit has the possibility of outputting information on integrated circuit damage due to ionizing radiation effecting it, at that the information on the damage is determined from the radiation dose dependent reduction of controlled electric additional power. By means of set information on damage can be determined the end of the service life or remaining operational time of the integrated circuit.

EFFECT: at that is possible to avoid the need to use the radiation sensor, recording ionizing radiation.
