FIELD: mechanisms.
SUBSTANCE: use: to adjust sensitivity of the rail ultrasonic flaw detector. Essence of the invention consists in that adjustment of sensitivity is carried out not by model articles with artificially created defects, but by the rail track flaw detected structural elements.
EFFECT: technical result is the opportunity of adjusting sensitivity of the rail ultrasonic flaw detector continuously during rail track flaw detection, as well as increase in quality and speed of sensitivity adjustment of the rail ultrasonic flaw detector.
