FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used for calibrating sensors containing heat-sensitive elements (HSE), for example a bolometer. Method of calibrating a sensor containing a heat-sensitive element, based on measuring the HSE resistance with its controlled heating involves controlled heating by passing an electric current pulse through the HSE. Herewith the initial value (amplitude and duration) of the electric pulse is determined by theoretically calculated value of maximum energy, which can be put in the HSE with due allowance for the operating temperature range for a specific HSE. Then this initial electric pulse is fed to the HSE, during this initial electric pulse duration measured is resistance change of the HSE by recording current and voltage on the HSE. Dependence is found of change of the HSE resistance on the value of put in it electric pulse energy obtained during integration of the product of registered voltage and current of electric pulse in the HSE. Result of the calibration is building a calibration curve characterizing dependence of change of the HSE resistance on the put in it energy.
EFFECT: technical result is the increase of accuracy of recovering integral energy of the radiation source when measuring variation of resistance of a heat-sensitive element of the sensor, which contains the HSE (a bolometer).
