SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication. Presented are methods and apparatus for providing proper and correct packets-based synchronization in systems and data transmission networks when distributing synchronization packets from one access point throughout a transport communication lines WI-FI to other access point. Device represents a dynamic adaptation of transmission speed with different coding and modulation schemes. Said device comprises an identifier for identification of each received synchronization packet, and a controller is configured for installation of transmission speed for said synchronization packet in accordance with a predetermined rule of synchronization packet transmission.

EFFECT: technical result is minimizing the effect of different distribution elements, the effect of which leads to inappropriate operation of packets-based synchronization in systems and data transmission networks, having one or more interfaces using the WI-FI technology.
