FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of communication performed by a first radio node, in which a first radio node operates in a wireless communication network standard "long-term development of communication systems" (LTE). Method comprises steps of: selecting a listening method before transmission (LBT) based on the type of information to be transmitted to a second radio node in a radio link in an unlicensed spectrum, wherein the type of information is data or is control or administration information, and performing the LBT using the selected LBT method on the radio channel. When the type of information is data, the selected method comprises a step of mandatory postponement of data transmission until one of the following events occurs: a) after completion of the first period of monitoring the radio channel, the result of the expiration of at least the second period of monitoring the radio channel is that the radio channel is free, and b) result of first radio channel monitoring period expiration and one or more delay periods is that radio channel is free. When the type of information is control or administration information, the selected method comprises a step for allowing transmission of information immediately after the first observation period expiration result is that the radio channel is free, wherein duration of first observation period provides priority of control or management information in comparison with data.

EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of wireless communication network.
