SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lubrication of an internal combustion engine. Internal combustion engine is equipped with a connecting rod and an oil injector. Connecting rod has a small head of the rod coupled with a piston, herewith the small and the large rod heads connected to the crank shaft are interconnected by a rod part. Oil injector feeds oil onto the back surface of the piston. In the said internal combustion engine a connecting hole, which comes out on the back surface of the piston and is connected with a hole for the pin, passes through the small head of the connecting rod. Lower part of the inner cylindrical surface, which forms the hole for the pin in the small head of the connecting rod, more extends in the direction of extension of the central axis of the hole for the pin than the upper part.

EFFECT: invention provides feeding oil to sliding surfaces of the piston pin and to holes for the pin in the connecting rod.
