FIELD: fuel combustion devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices for preparation of fuel or fuel mix before combustion in internal combustion engines. Disclosed is a device for fuel preparation, comprising hollow housing 1 made from dielectric material, inlet 2 and outlet nozzles 3, first electrode 4, made in form of a brush with radial bristles 5 in form of sharpened metal wire needles sharpened at end, and a second electrode, which is a cylindrical electrically conducting surface equally spaced from needle tips and made in form of metal mesh 6. According to method fuel is exposed to sharply inhomogeneous electric field of high-intensity, wherein time-variable frequency electric field is selected from a section of intrinsic oscillation frequencies of molecules contained in fuel mixture and volume of fuel flows through zone of high intensity generated by sharply inhomogeneous electric field.

EFFECT: improving fuel combustion completeness.
