FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for selective extraction of ions of gold and silver from solutions by extraction with tributyl phosphate. Method includes contacting an extractant and a solution, mixing, settling and separation of phases. Extraction is carried out from hydrochloric acid solutions with portion supply of extractant. During supply of first portions of extractant at concentrations of solution of 2 n. HCl and 240 g/dm3 NaCl and temperature t = 60 °C gold is extracted with minimum extraction of silver. After extraction of gold, silver is extracted at concentration of 3 n. HCl and 240 g/dm3 NaCl and temperature t = 20 °C. Method provides high selectivity of process of extracting gold and silver ions from aqueous solutions of salts of gold and silver.
EFFECT: method is cheap due to reduction of extractant consumption with introduction thereof in portions.
