FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method of processing of zinc cake includes sulphatization with oleum, followed by leaching of sulphate sintering with a solution of sulfuric acid to form a pulp. Further, the pulp is subjected to hydrochlorination, followed by extraction of the metal ions from the resulting solution by the batch feeding of tributyl phosphate and their reextracts. The object of the invention is to develop an efficient method for processing zinc cakes.
EFFECT: selective extraction of zinc, iron, copper, lead, gold and sulfur from zinc cake.
