FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, particularly to a vertical joint system for substrates - wooden boards or panels, used for covering floor, ceiling or walls. Vertical joint system for substrates is formed with joints Jm and Jf which are engaged by relative motion in a direction perpendicular to major surfaces. Joints are configured to enable relative rotation by an angle of up to 3°. Joints Jm and Jf may form two locking planes, one on each of inner and outer most sides of joint. Engagement about locking planes is provided by transverse outward extending surfaces Cm1, Cm2, Cf1 and Cf2. At least one surface in each pair of engaging surfaces - Cf1 and Cm1, Cf2 and Cm2 - is smoothly curved. Joints Jm and Jf can be further arranged to provide a third locking plane. Joints are disengaged by combination of a downward rotation of one joint relative other then application of a downward force.
EFFECT: technical result consists in possibility of attachment of covering on underlying surfaces with corrugations.
