SUBSTANCE: invention relates to application of coatings on objects and can be used in paints and varnishes industry. Method of applying coating onto object 28 involves immersing object 28 in coating solution; its removal from coating solution; rotation around or about first axis 52 after extraction using first universal hinge 26, rotation of object around or about second axis 50 after extraction using second universal joint 48. First universal hinge 26 is connected to first shaft connected to first motor. First axis 52 is determined by first shaft. Second universal joint 48 is fixed in first gimbal joint 26 using second and third shafts, connected to second and third motors. Second axis 50 is defined by second and third shafts. Object 28 is retained by two object holders, fixed in second universal joint. Rotation around or about first axis 52 and rotation around or about second axis 50 after removal create centrifugal forces on surface of said object 28 for formation of uniform film of said coating solution on all or part of coated surface.

EFFECT: invention ensures uniform coating on objects with complex surface shape.
