FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic synthesis, specifically to a method of producing glycidol by reaction of allyl alcohol with aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide in molar ratio (10-1):1 and temperature of 20-50 °C in presence of a heterogeneous catalyst - titanium-containing zeolite. Process is carried out in presence of hydrogen peroxide stabilisers, which are used NaH2PO4, Na2HPO4, PhC(O)CH3 in an amount of 0.005-0.5 mol/l.
EFFECT: invention provides high output of glycidol on allyl alcohol, allyl alcohol conversion and selectivity of formation of glycidol on allyl alcohol.
