FIELD: nanoscale oxides obtaining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of methods for obtaining nanoscale oxides, namely, samples of oxides of rare earth elements (REE), which can be used as a variety of materials due to their luminescent, catalytic, optical, electrical and magnetic properties. Nanosized oxides of rare earth elements are obtained by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis. Rare earth nitrates with acetamide are used as starting materials.

EFFECT: method allows to lower the temperature of the beginning of the exothermic process to achieve the conditions of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis of REE oxides.
