FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a communication system and can be used assigning redundancy versions to a circular buffer within a communication system. Device comprises an encoder outputting systematic bits, a first block of parity bits, and a second block of parity bits, each having length Kflow; rate matching circuitry receiving systematic bits, first block of parity bits and second block of parity bits and separately interleaving systematic bits, first block of parity bits and second block of parity bits; logic circuitry to define redundancy versions (RVs), corresponding to a bit position within data stream to begin outputting data, wherein RVs start at positions [Kflow/32] (C×i+σ), i = 0, 1, …, Y-1, where C indicates number of columns between two adjacent RVs, Y is number of determined RVs, σ indicates index of column of initial position of first RV (RV0), and wherein flow includes interleaved systematic bits, and interleaved and alternating first and second parity bits, and dummy bits; transmission circuitry which receives non-dummy bits, starting with a specific RV, and transmitting said non-dummy bits.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of circular buffer.
