SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of preparing a master batch of diene elastomer with silicon dioxide. Method includes consecutive steps: of preparing a silicon dioxide dispersion in water, contacting and mixing elastomer latex and an aqueous dispersion of silicon dioxide in presence of a metal salt, containing a divalent metal, to obtain a coagulate, separating coagulate, drying separated coagulate to obtain a master batch. Molar content of metal cations, defined as number of moles of metal cations of metal salt per unit of measured BET specific surface area of silicon dioxide, ranges from 9.375×10-7 to 1.875×10-5 mol/m2. Silicon dioxide has BET specific surface area from 30 to 400 mol/m2.
EFFECT: invention simplifies method with good dispersion of filler in elastomer matrix.
