SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a photoelectric conversion and image capturing system. Photoelectric conversion device includes a photoelectric converter, transistor, wherein its gate is supplied with voltage that corresponds to charges generated by the photoelectric converter, control line that is connected to the first main electrode of the transistor, and reading unit configured to read the signal corresponding to the voltage of the gate, and voltage regulator made with possibility of changing the voltage of the control line. Reading unit generates a digital signal corresponding to the voltage of the gate on the basis of current flowing through the second main electrode of the transistor for a period when the voltage controller changes the voltage of the control line.
EFFECT: invention provides the photoelectric conversion device suitable to simplify the configuration of the circuit of each pixel and produce multi-pixel configuration.
