FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: photoelectric conversion system, comprising: a photoelectric conversion element; a differential pair including the first transistor configured to receive a signal based on the electric charge generated in the photoelectric conversion element and the second transistor configured to receive the reference signal; a fixing circuit configured to lock voltage on the gate of the second transistor, and an output circuit. The output circuit is configured to perform the first operation for outputting voltage based on gate voltage of the first transistor to the gate of the second transistor and the second operation for receiving current from the second transistor and for outputting the signal based on a comparison result between gate voltage of the first transistor and gate voltage of the second transistor to the output node. Herewith the output circuit includes a control unit configured to control, in the second operation, the value of the voltage change at the drain of the second transistor, so that it is less than the amount of the voltage change at the output node.
