FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of sorbents for extracting valuable components from aqueous media. Sorbent is obtained by sorption of sulphide ions on macroporous anionites polymerisation or polycondensation type containing group of quaternary ammonium base and/or primary and secondary amine groups, followed by condensation of sulphide-ions with a mixture of formaldehyde and aminoacetic acid in anionite pores.
EFFECT: invention provides efficient sorbent for extracting rare-earth metals from mineralised aqueous media.
