FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for reconditioning and hardening of work organs of agricultural machines. In places, subject to maximum abrasive wear, layer of wear-resistant material is applied. Coating layer is produced by electric contact welding of tape, in particular of carbonaceous material, treated to produce its welded surface roughness (Ra) 2.5-8.0 mcm by pulse current of 3-8 kA, pulse time of which is equal to 0.04-0.08 s and pause time is 0.06-1.2 s. Preliminarily between restored surface and tape intermediate layer of tape or powder solder is placed and on restored detail surface roughness (Ra) of 2.5-8.0 mcm is preliminarily created. Prior to forming second coating layer previous soldered layer is forged to produce said roughness value for creation of internal stresses.
EFFECT: method provides restoring operability and increasing service life of tillage machine working parts by applying coating on surfaces, which has high wear resistance to abrasive wear.
