FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device includes a diffuser of a uniform intensity distribution (DUID), a fiber-optic collector and a measuring and computing unit. The DUID includes a biconcave lens that diffusely passes a convex-concave lens of milky glass, a hollow photometric cylinder, and a diffusely-permeable plate made of milky glass. The fiber-optic collector contains optical fibers enclosed in the input rim installed at the DUID outlet, and at the output rims that branch the optical radiation flux into, at least, two channels to measure the radiation energy at different wavelengths. At the outputs of the fiber-optic collector there are spectral filters and neutral attenuators that are matched to the spectrum and the level of the optical signal with the characteristics of the corresponding photodiodes switched via a switch. The measuring and computing unit includes an integrating device, an amplifier, a peak detector, an analog-to-digital converter, a microprocessor, and an indicator.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of measurements over a wide range of laser beam diameters.
