FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and device for measuring energy of powerful laser radiation pulses. Device includes a laser radiation source, a diffusing medium, an optic-fiber collector, an attenuator of laser radiation, a photodiode, measuring and computing unit. Diffusing medium used is a diffusing diffuser made as a cylindrical washer from diffusing glass. Diffuser is installed into a flange located at minor angle to the optical axis of the laser beam. On external surface of washer branched ends fiberoptic collector are fixed uniformly in circumferential direction with possibility to adjust distance to surface of diffuser. Collector provides optical signal transmission through attenuator to photodiode. Outlet of collector is secured with possibility to adjust distance to attenuator.
EFFECT: technical result is the improvement of accuracy and wider range of power density of the measured radiation.
