SUBSTANCE: device comprises a laser radiation receiver connected to a computer and optically coupled by an input window with the output of laser radiation through the first and second translucent quartz plates, the first of which divides the radiation into two beams, one of which is reflected onto the second plate, and the passing beam is focused by an optical focusing system on the surface of the sample under study, the second plate divides the radiation into two beams, one of which is reflected onto a photodiode connected to a computer, and the transmitted beam passes into the input window of the laser radiation receiver, a three-coordinate moving device and a fastening device for securing the sample under study and the reference standard. The computer provides the ability to process information and control, in accordance with a computer program, a three-coordinate moving device and a shutter that passes a certain number of pulses specified by the computer program.
EFFECT: elimination of the influence of the physico-chemical properties of the materials under study on the size of the laser spot area from the effect of laser radiation on the material under study and in the event of destruction of the sample under study when exposed to laser pulses.
