FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to experimental medicine and biology, and can be used for assessing biocompatibility of implanted articles. For this purpose, cells from surface of implantable products are obtained for biocompatibility assessment. Average midline laparotomy is made in animal after anaesthesia, test sample is implanted into abdominal cavity, placing it on small intestinal loop and covering it with larger gland, wound is sutured in layers. After 52 hours laparotomy is repeated, test sample of material is removed, treated with 0.25 % trypsin solution "Gibco" with ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid in vitro. Adherent cells are removed, then three times washed with medium DMEM/F12 + HEPES containing 10 % of fetal calf serum and deposited by centrifugation at 1,000 rpm, and residue is re-suspended with embryonic calf serum.
EFFECT: use of given method enables to obtain cell culture for integrated assessment of biocompatibility of implanted articles in conditions for interaction of macrophages with tested material in vivo and assessment of morphofunctional characteristics of cells after such interaction in vitro.
