FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biochemistry, cellular biology, and medicine, in particular, to a biopolymer material for cellular engineering and tissue engineering constructs, as well as to a method for production thereof. Said material has a spongy morphology with a system of interconnected macropores with a 60 to 310 mcm cross-section, and constitutes a chemically cross-linked macroporous cryostructurate based on acetic acid extract of animal tissue, excluding human tissue, containing protein and polysaccharide components in a mass ratio from 10:90 to 90:10. In order to produce the material, first, an aqueous solution is made with a pH of 5.0 to 7.0 and a dry matter content of 2 to 4 wt.% from an acetic acid extract of animal tissue, excluding human tissue. Said solution is then frozen at a temperature from -10 to -40°C for 2 to 24 hours, followed by lyophilisation of the frozen sample. The resulting macroporous cryostructurate is further treated with an 0.05 to 0.10M ethanol solution of an alcohol-soluble carbodiimide at 6 to 36°C for 12 to 36 hours and then washed with ethanol. The resulting material is stored in an environment of 70 to 96% ethanol before use as a carrier for cultivating cells.
EFFECT: invention allows a simpler and cheaper method for producing a biopolymer material for creating cellular engineering and tissue engineering constructs.
