FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering, in particular to development of heat-accumulating compositions, including halides of alkali metals, which are used as heat-accumulating, phase-transition materials. Composition contains, wt%: LiF – (27.4÷28.0); NaF – (38.0÷38.8); KCl – (33.8÷34.0).
EFFECT: composition provides efficiency of heat accumulator at 591–595 °C, 85–105 J/g above specific enthalpy of fusion.
