FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat-storage compositions that can be used to maintain a predetermined temperature range of interest to heating engineering. Heat-storage composition contains, mass%: lithium fluoride LiF 22.4–23 and sodium sulphate-fluoride Na3FSO4 77–77.6 and is an alloy with a melting point of 590–602 °C and specific melting enthalpy 640–650 J/g.
EFFECT: in comparison with the closest analogue, the proposed composition provides an increase in heat storage capacity when the specific melting enthalpy is increased by 125–135 J/g and the possibility of using both as a coolant and a low-melting flux in the welding of light and non-ferrous metals.
