FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparation of epoxy compositions and can be used for making articles from polymer composite materials by vacuum infusion, including using filler made by weaving, in power engineering, construction, aircraft, machine building, ship-building industries and other industries. Epoxy composition contains an epoxy base containing epoxy resin and an active diluent – aliphatic glycidyl ether and aromatic glycidyl ether, and a curing system based on amine curing agents – polyetheramine and isophoronediamine. Epoxy resin can contain one resin or a mixture of resins based on bisphenol A with molecular weight of 340–430. Ratio of epoxy base and curing system in composition is, pts.wt – 100:(22–33).
EFFECT: invention enables to create high-technology epoxy composition for infusion technique of producing polymer composite materials with optimum gelling time at room temperature of processing into polymer composite material, characterised by high thermomechanical (glass transition temperature) and physical and mechanical properties (tensile strength and static bending).
