FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used for monitoring the position of moving metal parts of rotor machines in power engineering, turbo pump units in oil and gas industry and other fields. Displacements meter comprises an eddy current sensor connected to the output of a high-frequency generator. Output of the eddy current sensor is connected to the input of a rectifier, the output of which is connected to the input of a low-frequency filter, the output of which is connected to the input of the main amplifier and an indicator. To achieve the technical result included are: a stage with a controlled dead zone, the input of which is connected to the output of the low-frequency filter, an adder, the output of which is connected to the indicator, an additional amplifier and a switch, the control input of which is connected to the output of the stage with the controlled dead zone. Input of the switch is connected to the output of the low-frequency filter, and the output - to the input of the additional amplifier. Output of the main amplifier is connected to the adder first input, the output of the additional amplifier is connected to the second input of the adder.

EFFECT: technical result is expansion of functional capabilities of the device by increasing the linear section of the meter transformation characteristic.
