FIELD: radio engineering and communications.
SUBSTANCE: user equipment (UE) for machine type of data transfer (MTC) detects multiple wireless cells, each being provided with node B (eNB). UE MTS detects category eNB associated with separate wireless cells from plurality of wireless cells and identifies one or more wireless cells from plurality of detected wireless cells, in which MTC traffic is allowed, based on associated categories eNB. UE MTS selectively connected with wireless cell from one or more identified wireless cells based on cell selection criterion. ENB provides MTC policy to UE MTC, which indicates condition whereat eNB allows traffic MTS. ENB is made with possibility of selective service UE MTS based on this MTC policy.
EFFECT: technical result consists in prevention of network overload due to selective connection with wireless cells UE MTS.
