SURGICAL THREAD FOR CLOSING AND/OR FIXATION OF TISSUES (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A61B17/06

Abstract RU 2607156 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, cosmetology, plastic surgery and can be used for lifting face and body tissues or in other operations, requiring closing and/or fixation of tissues, performed without knotting. In first version, surgical thread is made with fasteners arranged along its length and cone-shaped supports, located between two fasteners. Supports are composed of helical springs of material with shape memory with flat sections for support at tissue of maximum diameters. Fasteners can be made integral with thread in form of figured ledges. In second version, surgical thread has cone-shaped supports, arranged along length of thread, made integral with thread in form of shaped ledges, which are helical springs. Whole thread in this version is made of material with shape memory. In third version, surgical thread has cone-shaped supports of material with shape memory arranged along its length. Supports are made of shaped ledges, which are helical springs. Supports from middle of thread face each other with turns of maximum diameter.

EFFECT: invention enables to create conditions for easy movement of thread forward beyond pulling force of thread, while it is difficult to pul backward because of funnel spring and availability of turns.
