SELF-EXPANDING STENTS INTO THE HOLLOW ORGANS OPENING INSTALLATION METHOD Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61F2/82 A61F2/95 A61B17/00

Abstract RU 2681187 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery, endoscopy, and can be used in the delivery of self-expanding stents to hollow organs narrowed by cicatrical or inflammatory process, as well as to their hard-to-reach areas. To do this, firstly fix a stent in a compressed state, positioning it in a bioabsorbable tubular woven sleeve formed by a spiral winding of the stent with a thread, the ends of which are fixed to the edges of the stent. In this case, the thread is made of a material that provides the possibility of its dissolution with a predetermined duration necessary for the opening of the stent, and each end of the stent contains a free “lasso” loop. Then place the stent on the endoscope, in the area of its working end. Then carry out the endoscope beyond a narrowing area of a hollow organ, placing the stent in the narrowing area of the hollow organ. After opening the stent to a diameter greater than the diameter of the endoscope, remove the latter from the stenting area and use for virtual monitor of the position of the installed stent. Carry out the adjustment of the stent position with the help of endoscopic forceps or endoloop by traction for the stent “lasso” loops.

EFFECT: method provides the most convenient delivery of the stent to a problem area, as well as the possibility of its complete reinstallation in case of failure due to the use of the endoscope as a delivery device, which also leads to the exclusion of the preliminary bougie stage.
