SELF-EXPANDING STENTS INTO THE HOLLOW ORGANS OPENING INSTALLATION METHOD Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B17/00 A61F2/04

Abstract RU 2679593 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the medicine, namely to surgery, endoscopy, and can be used with necessity of the self-expanding stents delivery to the narrowed by scar or inflammatory process, as well as hard-to-reach areas of hollow organs. For this, using the delivery device, as which the guide catheter is used. Prior to the delivery device introduction in the proximal to the stent direction, to the catheter the medical patch coils are applied so as to prevent the stent oral displacement during installation. Next, fixing the stent in the compressed state, placing it in the bio-absorbable tubular woven sleeve, formed by the stent spiral winding with the thread, which ends are fixed to the stent edges. Thread is made of a material that provides the possibility of its dissolution with a given duration, necessary for the stent opening. After the stent opening, removing the delivery device.

EFFECT: method reduces the morbidity while reducing the stent installation duration by using the smaller diameter delivery device due to the use of a water-soluble thread, which can be carried out through the endoscope working channel, in addition, during the stent dislocation, its extraction, recharging and reinstallation are possible without use of the new product.
