FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to inertial wheel comprising cumulative ring and hub, connecting cumulative ring with wheel rotation shaft. According to invention hub comprises central part making hub body for connection with shaft, peripheral part making rim of cumulative ring connection, and intermediate part, which is disk between hub body and rim. Hub is made from composite material and has modulus of rigidity, decreasing from hub body to rim. Invention also covers method of such inertial wheel making.
EFFECT: invention enables decreased weight and higher density of accumulated energy.
