SUBSTANCE: invention relates to remote ordering of drugs. Terminal for remote orders at a pharmacy comprises: a) first input means for obtaining prescription information from a prescription form, issued for a specific pharmaceutical preparation to prescribed to a specific consumer, wherein first input means includes a scanner with an optical device for reading characters for scanning a prescription to enable electronic verification in terminal for remote orders so that prescription form is a form from a licensed doctor, by comparing scanned text on prescription with a database of licensed doctors and pharmaceutical preparations; b) a second input means for obtaining information on state of health and information which identifies consumer; c) a computer processing unit for determining when said prescription information and identification information were input by terminal, further, causing sending of said information to back-end processing system for electronic tracking; g) a department for reception and storage of paper prescription forms after each form is collected from consumer, ordering pharmaceutical preparation through terminal, and a means for encoding of prescription form; d) electronic payment means; e) means of transmitting said information to a remote central service provider having a back-end processing system, wherein said back-end processing system has a computer processing unit with an optical device for reading characters from an image, wherein said back-end processing system is configured to direct delivery of said pharmaceutical preparation or ensure its availability to consumer otherwise by means of pharmacy; wherein back-end processing system is configured for electronic verification that prescription form is a form from a licensed doctor, by comparing electronically optically recognised text on an electronic copy of prescription with a database of licensed doctors and pharmaceutical preparations, verification of identity of consumer and patient based on input information and comparison of above with available identifying information or with identifying information from other authenticated suppliers, wherein back-end processing system is configured for optical reading of encoded paper prescription and its comparison with a scanned prescription sent from remote order terminal, to verify that all input data match with data on prescription, and then configured for electronic processing of order and its electronic transmission through Internet to one of multiple pharmacies, in order to indicate delivery of said pharmaceutical preparation or providing its availability to consumer otherwise by means of pharmacy in accordance with regulatory requirements.
EFFECT: technical result is providing remote order of drugs.
