FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, in particular, to a winter tire tread pattern. Pneumatic tire comprises annular grooves, multiple transverse grooves and longitudinal grooves, communicating between transverse grooves on outer side of the annular grooves in a tire width direction. Each transverse groove includes the first part of the transverse groove, the second part of the transverse groove located farther outward in a tire width direction than the first part of the transverse groove, and a transition part of the transverse groove connecting the first and the second parts of of the transverse groove. Centre of the groove in width of the outer end in a tire width direction, the first part of the transverse groove is located closer to one peripheral side of the tire, than the centre of the groove in width of the inner end in a tire width direction, the second part of the transverse groove. Longitudinal grooves are inclined relative to tire circumferential direction to the opposite side, on which a transition part of the transverse groove passes. End on one circumferential side of the tire of each longitudinal groove is connected with a section, where the second part and the transition part of the transverse groove on one peripheral side of the tire are connected together. End on the other circumferential side of the tire of each longitudinal groove is connected with a section, where the first part and the transition part of the transverse groove on the other peripheral side of the tire are connected together.
EFFECT: technical result is improvement of drainage characteristics at good operational features on snowy and icy roads.
