SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to tires. Pneumatic tire comprises central rib formed by two main lengthwise grooves. In central rib, there are two skewed grooves: main and auxiliary. Multiple main skewed grooves and multiple auxiliary skewed grooves are located next to each other in tire lengthwise direction. Front ends of main skewed grooves extend beyond tire equatorial tire plane, are connected to each other and form zigzag central groove. Width of the central groove is not less than 2 mm and no more than 6 mm.

EFFECT: improved operating performances of tire in winter conditions.
