FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biotechnology and can be used in medicine and pharmaceutical industry. Method for regioselective chemical N-terminal PEGylation of thymosin beta 4. By this method monoconjugate of PEG with thymosin beta 4 is obtained, having improved pharmacokinetic properties. Modification of N-terminal alpha amino group of thymosin beta 4 is confirmed.
EFFECT: use of invention enables to obtain monoPEGylated thymosin beta 4 with high output.
