SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing boronic acid. Method involves reaction of 2-chloro-6-fluoroanisole with at least one alkyllithium to form a reaction mixture containing a lithiated intermediate compound, in a first reactor; movement of reaction mixture into second reactor; continuous addition of borate to reaction mixture in a second reactor to obtain boronate; and conversion of boronate to boronic acid. Invention also discloses version boronic acid, system for producing boronic acid and method of producing an intermediate compound.
EFFECT: method provides continuous production of boronic acid, reduces amount of reactive intermediate compound present during process and reduces duration of cycle.
