SUBSTANCE: invention relates to users address books arrangement, namely, to synchronization of address book in user terminal and address book in social network. That is ensured by determining synchronization target object, if defined synchronization target object is first address book, loading of contact information from second address book into user terminal. At that, if defined synchronization target object is second address book, contact information is unloaded from first address book into social network and comparison of contact information from first address book with contact information of second address book. Then, identifying person with matching contact information, performed on the basis of comparison, and synchronization of person information in first address book and person information in second address book.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of merging information on persons, having matching contact information in various address books, and addition of such information into each of address books.
