Suture material contains fibre, drug preparation, attached to fibre, multiple fasteners of tissue formed in fibre, said fiber comprises core and shell covering core, core and shell have cross section, selected from: round, square, pentagonal, hexagonal or other polygonal cross-sections, wherein selected types of cross-section of core and shell do not match.
EFFECT: method enables reduction of suture material in wound, reducing risk of wound opening.
