FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of thermophysical measurements and can be used for determining heat conductivity of materials. According to disclosed method, analysed sample of known thickness through a heat source with specified heat flow density is brought into thermal contact with a reference sample, temperature-controlled at a given temperature of analysed and reference sample and temperature is measured. Exposure to heat flux with the specified density on first reference sample with length L, value of which is not more than distance between heaters, and arranged in parallel to it and coaxially connected to each other reference sample with length l, made from same material as first reference sample with length L, and analysed sample, sum of lengths of which is equal to l. Between parallel samples there is a thermocouple, connecting with contact other reference sample with length l and analysed sample, and a slider located on first reference sample with length L, which smoothly moves until achieving temperature at contact and slider. Distance is measured from ends of first reference sample with length L to location of slider l1 and l2. Then thermal resistance of analysed sample is calculated, and obtained value of thermal resistance is used to determine value of heat conductivity of analysed sample. Obtained value of thermal conductivity coefficient is used to determine heat conducting properties of analysed material.
EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy of determining heat conductivity of both volumetric and flat materials.
