FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer systems for user interaction. System determines which of a plurality of users transmits input data through a single information input device. Mechanism captures images of one or more users. When input is detected, images may be processed to determine which user provided an input using input device. Images may be processed to identify each user’s head and eyes, and determine focus point for each user's eyes. User which has eyes focused at input location is identified as providing input. When input mechanism is a touch screen, user having eyes focused on touch screen portion which was touched is identified as source of input.
EFFECT: technical result is improved accuracy during interaction of multiple users with a computer system by means of a separate input mechanism.
