FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to a display system. System comprises: a display arranged in the field of view of the viewer, a sensor subsystem configured to read the state of the viewer's eyes. Sensor subsystem comprises: an eye sensor configured to read the heating and/or evaporation of the eye liquid by probing the user's eye in the infrared spectrum (IR) or near infrared spectrum (NIR), and an eye camera and two infrared light sources emitting said probing illumination; and a controller operatively connected to the display and the sensor subsystem. Controller is configured to: use the output signal from the eye-catching camera in order to track the direction of view of the viewer and adjust the operating parameter of the display system in response to the fact that the state of the eyes read by the sensor subsystem, indicates current or approaching visual discomfort, wherein the working parameter includes intensity of infrared light sources from the sensor subsystem.
EFFECT: invention provides preventing or relieving the visual discomfort experienced by the viewer.
