FIELD: communication.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication supporting carriers aggregation. Method for handover between cells involves the following steps: determining by the base station (BS), whether located are component carriers corresponding to one or more cells subject to access within the same frequency range, so that the said cells subject to access belong to the target BS and are selected by the terminal device, which performs switching over to servicing by other cells and which is serviced by the source BS; if so, the source BS packs the configuration information on all the cells subject to access into a command for handover between the cells to initiate the handover between the cells; otherwise the source BS packs the configuration information on one or more cells of the said one or more cells subject to access into the command of handover between the cells and transmits the command of handover between the cells to the target BS.

EFFECT: technical result is optimization of the measurement report transfer.
