SUBSTANCE: invention relates to displaying content. Method for adjusting a content area to avoid occlusion by a display of a virtual input panel, comprises displaying content in a content area, having a scaling property so as to input content in content area; receiving an interaction with content that indicates an interaction area within content area; determining when a display of virtual input panel occludes interaction area, when virtual input panel is displayed; identification of scaling factor value for content area before displaying virtual panel; mapping virtual input panel; on basis of determination that virtual input panel occludes interaction area, adjusting content display area by means of adjustment of size of content area, in order to prevent occlusion of interaction area of virtual input panel, wherein content in adjusted content area is displayed in accordance with identified value of scaling factor when displaying a virtual input panel; removing display of virtual panel; and in response to removal of virtual panel, displaying content in content area based on scaling property in order to enter content in content area.
EFFECT: technical result is automatic adjustment of content display area so that display of virtual input panel does not occlude content with which user interacts.
